"This recent book (The Good Guy) shows even more similarities to your style. I think (Dean Koontz) has been reading your work."
"I don't expect to get anything meaty from (well-known author), like I do with you and Sue Grafton."
"It's just amazing to me how you can take the perspective of such a variety of characters, both male and female, and be so right-on
with it. It's like you have been able to inhabit their bodies, at their particular ages, and divined how they would think and what they would say."

Dangerous Wind

The third Carol Golden novel

"Enjoyed the book very much. Kept in suspense until close to the end.
Enjoyed our trip around the world as we have been to most of the spots."
--Judy Maltby

"I highly recommend reading this intense, philosophical, and adventurous novel...
The characters are fun and intriguing. The book is fast-paced, so I never wanted to
put it down. Having the story take place in all seven continents just adds to the thrill!"
--Brenda Castro

"If this work of fiction causes its readers some unease, that may have been
at least part of the authorís intention. Be that as it may, it is a page-turner, and definitely
recommended."
--Gloria Feit

Thirteen Diamonds

The first Lillian Morgan mystery

I really enjoyed this book because the protagonist is different from
any other. Lillian Morgan is unpredictable which is interesting
to watch. She acts like a young kid in an old person's body.

Catch a Falling Knife

The second Lillian Morgan mystery

Lillian is an entertaining and witty character
who doesn't come off as either a cutesy grandmother
type or a spoof of a hip and with-it senior citizen.
She is likeable and admirable and doesn't put up with
the condescension the elderly often receive.
